Ice Cream Corner Monday - Fun Kid Friendly Cards

Today, I had a delicious Haagen-Daaz ice cream for dessert (Vanilla Blackberry Chocolate TRIO CRISPY LAYERS). Love the combo of flavors and ingredients. Speaking of combo, the Stampin' UP! Ice Cream Collection has fun bright colors combos and cute kid friendly stamps.  I made some cards and will post one a day this week for you to get inspiration.

I'm also excited that the upcoming Paper Pumpkin all inclusive card kit coordinates with this collection. (Click here to see the So Cool kit only avail for order through April 9th). This only means more sweet creations to hand out!

This card is a great exercise on paper cutting! Tip: use smaller fine tipped scissors to navigate through the curves and turns of the ice creams that are cut out.  I also used the Subtle 3D embossing folder to add texture to the card. Some of the ice cream cones are raised with dimensional adhesives and I also used clear embossing powder to add shine to the sentiment. It's was a fun treat for me to make.

Here's a list of items used for this card. Please note that the dies require a die cutter and Stampin UP offers a terrific one. (Click on images below to order the material through me).
