Hydrangea Hill Thursday - Add Some Die Cut Embellishments

With today's card, I continue to use the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper (DSP for short) to decorate my card. I used three sides. I cut out the preprinted flowers to decorate around my tag. As mentioned before, I add the sentiment on the tag when I'm ready to send out the card.

If you have a die and embossing machine, you can cut out some leaves to add to the floral arrangements. If you are shopping for one, consider Stampin' Up's! exclusive foldable one. Here I used dies from the Wild Rose collection to cut out the tag and leaves in cardstock in Olive Green, white, and Gorgeous grape colors. This die set will be retiring in May (which means that they will not longer maintain inventory of it after this time). Stampin' Up! has other die sets with tags and leaves including the Hydrangea Haven set (this has a large hydrangea).

Here's a list of dies that have leaves (Pierced Blooms & Wild Rose have tags as well):

The Hydrangea Hill Collection is extensive and includes paper, stamps, dies, ribbon, and pastel pearl balls so there is a good variety to choose from. There's also the option to purchase the entire collection if you want it all.

When putting together your card, the colors that coordinate well with the designer series paper are: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Old Olive, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Whisper White.
