Christmas Cookies Card - December's Easy Peasy - featuring Gingerbread and Peppermint Designer Series Paper
This cookie card is great for those of us watching our calorie intake. They're also great for those of us who intend on giving out cookies as gifts to others. What's great is that they are easy and quick using the Gingerbread and Peppermint Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! You can use the Essential Tag punch or similar and the Gold trim or similar. I've included a tools/materials list below should you want to replicate this card.

Stampin' Up November Seasonal Sale
One of the reasons I LOVE Stampin' Up is the coordinating cardstock and ink. My cards look so much more professional with the coordinating colors. I realized that all the color paper and ink colors I purchased from my local craft stores (M... and J...) left me spending WAY too much time figuring out how to match colors instead of having fun making the cards.

Stampin' Thursday - Sweet Strawberry Card
Mixing colors from different Stampin' Up! Color families, I made this cute berry card. All it needs is a sentiment on the bottom right and it's ready to go.
What do you think about the color coordination?
- Strawberries are in Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, Granny Apple Green, and Polished Pink with seeds in Mango Melody.
- Cardstocks are in Mango Melody and So Saffron.
- Background is stamped in Momento Black.

Alcohol markers are very popular amongst artists and crafters and originated in Japan for the animation, architectural, and fashion industries. They are used to add dimension and depth to their artwork and anime. They are great for blending, create shades, tints and ombrés by overlaying colors. In this class, we will explore the use of alcohol markers to make some cards. We will use them on vellum, embossed paper, and preprinted paper. This class has two 1 hour sessions. Materials are included and are yours to keep. The markers included in this class are quality Stampin' Blends alcohol markers valued at $36. There is a brush end and a fine tip end and the rectangular barrel prevents them from rolling off your surface.
The class will span two sessions: Saturdays 2-3 PM, June 12 & June 19
It will also be available on video for those who cannot attend or for review.

June 12 Easy Peasy Card Making Session

Join me and others on a virtual video meet to make quick and lovely cards as easy as 1-2-3. Using Designer Series Paper and different die cutouts from Stampin' Up!, anyone can create fantastic handmade cards! In this session, we will make cards ready to show our appreciation for fathers! This would be a great activity to partake with your child.
Register by May 25th, 2021 for mailed (out of town) & local pickup in the Twin Cities.
While it is more fun to make the cards with us, you can always watch for FREE.
Cost for each kit: $5 (arrange for no contact pickup/drop off for guests in the Twin Cities Area. Outside areas will be shipped.)
Supplies included in each kit: Precut cards and shapes and envelopes to make 1 Father's day card.
You will need: scissors, adhesive (such as glue stick, adhesive gun, or glue dots), and scratch paper.
Optional supplies: your own stamps for sentiments and ink.
Additional items are available for add on:
3M Scotch Glue stick $1 each.
Skill Level: Beginner (fine motor skills).
Ages: 8 and up.

May 7: 2021 - 2022 Annual Catalog Blog Hop
Hello folks. It's the beginning of May and there has been much excitement around the new Stampin' Up! Annual catalogue that was released on May 4th! You can download it on my website (either on the sidebar if you are on your laptop or scroll further down if you have a mobile device).
One of the highly anticipated reveal is the new set of In Colors which is available from 2021-2023. The lovely cool modern colors work so well together and I love that they are available on card stock, ink, and ribbon, and even rhinestone. I made the Simply Succulent card below with three of the colors - Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent.

This month, join me and others on a virtual card making class where we will explore ink blending and stenciling to make two beautiful cards using Succulent cutouts from Stampin' Up!. Using the blending brush, you can create very soft smooth and soft blends.

Ice Cream Corner Thursday - Fun Kid Friendly Cards
For this fun card, I arranged the sprinkles and polka dot DSP with a 1/4" strip to So Saffron cardstock onto my white card base. I then cut out some cute ice cream scoops and a cone out of the designer series papers. Then I assembled my ice cream cone. If fussy cutting is not your thing, there's a punch available to make it easier to cut out the cones and scoops consistently each time. I'll have it listed in the supplies below.

Ice Cream Corner Wednesday - Fun Kid Friendly Cards
Playing with asymmetry for this card. The coordinating DSP makes all the pieces blend together very well. I did choose to emboss the sentiment and double up on the cardstock for the sentiment to give it more dimension on the card.
