Enjoying Hydrangea Hill Week

One of my favorite flowers is the hydrangea. Hydrangeas are long lasting bunches of beauty. Last summer, I visited Long Island and hydrangeas were everywhere! Mopheads, lace, and pinnacle. I was fortunate enough to get some hydrangea clippings back to propagate so will see how they do when the weather warms up. Until then, I get to enjoy making hydrangea cards thanks to the Hydrangea Hill Collection of stamps, dies, and designer papers.

This collection is extensive and includes paper, stamps, dies, ribbon, and pastel pearl balls so there is a good variety to choose from. There's also the option to purchase the entire collection if you want it all.

When putting together your card, the colors that coordinate well with the designer series paper are: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Old Olive, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Whisper White.

See the links below to get more detailed images from the Stampin' Up! website and to shop with me.

Hydrangea Hill Collection Product List:

I like to make my cards blank and then add the desired sentiment later. It gives me flexibility. This week I'll show cards I made from this collection. So check back each day for a new inspiration.

Today's card is great when you need a super quick yet beautiful card. All it takes is a piece of the designer paper (cut 5 1/4" X 4") on gorgeous grape cardstock (8 1/2" X 11" cut in half). Now, all that's needed is a sentiment or maybe a butterfly stamped in the sky. Or if you have more time, emboss the sentiment.
