Hydrangea Hill Wednesday - Add Some Ink

Today, I have two cards I made using the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper.

The first card adds a little dimension and more interest with three designer paper prints and a stamped hydrangea. The hydrangea is colored by blending Seaside Spray and Highland Heather inks.

The card is ready to go as is. If you'd like to step it up, you can add a ribbon around the hydrangea stem. You can also add sentiment on a piece of cardstock (there are some cool punches and dies available or you can use a rectangular piece of cardstock). Check below for supplies if you'd like to make one yourself or contact me if you'd like a premade one!

For this second card, I used a butterfly stamp earned from the Free SALE-a-bration catalogue. That sale just ended in Feb. However, you can use the dragonfly stamp from the sampler stamp set listed below. If you love butterflies, there's new Butterfly Brilliance stamp/die sets just released on March 2.

Here is a list of the supplies you can use to make both cards. The current sampler set has a slightly different hydrangea from the one in my card. It includes the dragonfly and leaves that can be used for the second card. Clicking on the links will take you to the Stampin' Up! online website (it should select me as your demonstrator).

If you're looking for a stamp set with sentiments, here are a few stamp sets with sentiments:

The Hydrangea Hill Collection is extensive and includes paper, stamps, dies, ribbon, and pastel pearl balls so there is a good variety to choose from. There's also the option to purchase the entire collection if you want it all.

When putting together your card, the colors that coordinate well with the designer series paper are: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Old Olive, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Whisper White.
